Episode 28a will be later this week, maybe today. I am in Westbrook attending the funeral of our church’s and my children’s former Youth Pastor. Pastor Doug Loftis was only 50 years old when he died ten months after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Pastor Doug passed away on Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Gosnell Hospice in Scarborough. Quite frankly I cannot concentrate on motorsports at this time when his wife and three teenage boys are now left to fend for themselves.
Pastor’s are not as a rule extremely well paid and his family does not have a little nest egg to fall back upon. They live in the church parsonage and will be moving out in the future thus adding the cost of housing to an already meager household income.
I am asking that you would pray for Beth, Alex, Nick, and Zack for a peace that passes all understanding and clear directions from God as to their path in life. May He place multiple kind-hearted persons in their lives.
So hug your family a little longer and tell them you love them because our time here is very limited. I am posting photos of my family as my tribute to them and to let them know I Love Them. May God bless you and yours.

My wife, Donna, with grand-daughter Lydia. This woman has put up with me for over 38 years. She should have known about my motorsports craziness when we went to Beech Ridge Speedway as part of our honeymoon.
