Famous race drivers headed to Maine next weekend for the New England Forest Rally headquartered at Sunday River in Newry. Maybe not as well known on the national scene, yet, a veteran of 22 NEFR is Bangor’s John Cassidy IV.

The former Loring Air Force Base in Limestone was where motorsports enthusiasts gathered this past weekend as the Loring Timing Association hosted the 2021 Speed Trials. Records were set as well as an appearance by Barn Finds’ Tom Cotter with his rare Cunningham cars which proved they were not for show only as they were put to the test on the track.
