At PRI were…..

Kody Swanson awarded 7th USAC Silver Crown title

Kody and wife/spotter Jordan made the trip to the Indiana Roof Ballroom, downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, as the seven-time USAC Silver Crown champions. Swanson became only the third driver in USAC 51-year history to win that many championships in one division. He joins the legends, AJ Foyt and Mel Kenyon.

Cold Hard Art at PRI

Riley’s Rebuilds was present

Riley’s Dad, Dane Schlick on right with Motor Trend Roadkill and former Hot Rod Magazine editor, David Freiburger. Freiburger was in Aroostook County in 2010 at the Loring Timing Association (LTA) speed trials. He drove the Hot Rod Magazine Camaro over 200 mph to get his fourth, at the time, 200 MPH Club recognition. Keith and Tanya Turk assisted with that effort. (Riley’s Rebuilds photo)

The following video was shot by Riley’s Rebuilds at the 2022 Finals of the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow. High school teams’ competition to determine who could completely disassemble a V8 engine and put it back together with correct fasteners and torque values. The overall winner in this video was A-Tech Training sponsored Forsyth Central High School from Georgia. The team instructor, Leah Bavirsha, was the first woman to lead a team to victory in this event. The winning time was 16 minutes and 28 seconds.
